And beyond mystery, I'm writing historical fiction that follows the Latter-day Saint story from its earliest days—converts leaving everything behind in Europe, crossing oceans and plains, and building new lives in the mountain West. Migration, faith, sacrifice, and the quiet cost of belief. History, like mystery, is about uncovering what's been buried.
